Sober living has truly been transformative for me. It provided the supportive environment I needed to rebuild my life, work through my insecurities, learn how to be accountable, and which ultimately led to new habits and a new perspective on life. Through structured routines and peer encouragement, I've gained invaluable skills and confidence to navigate life's challenges with clarity and resilience.

The best sober-livings are not places for one to simply abstain from using drugs or alcohol. No, they are homes in which those struggling in the fight of their life are allowed to grow into the people they were always meant to be. A space of healing that allows them to build lives one small piece at a time.

Without long-term sober living after I left treatment 7 years ago, I do not believe I would have made it. Every other living situation I could have returned too was a high-risk and I needed to start a blank slate.

I dreaded the idea of doing any kind of sober housing after I detoxed but my therapist would not stop stressing it. I stayed for 2 years and not only did the structure save my life but also set me up for life when I left.

My addiction wanted me alone and that’s exactly where I would always end up. I would so easily push all my friends and family away that by the last time I got clean, there was barely anyone left. Sober-living is where I was introduced to a community of others that supported my every step of the way on my road to true recovery.

I had done countless inpatient programs and would always get out with the best intentions. A few weeks or months would pass and one day I would always go back to using. When I finally was ready to do something different, I did structured sober-living and it finally allowed me to stay sober long-term.
