We foster an environment of transformation that empowers residents to embark on a new chapter in their life.
Miracle Lane operates with a set of rules that will help keep our residents in motion in their recovery journey while also ensuring that their housing environment remains safe. Routine drug testing, housing responsibilities and mandatory enrollment in work, school or treatment are some of the requirements that set us apart. We find that too much downtime and too little accountability in early recovery is a dangerous combination. The general structure of our home is designed to prevent both and keep our residents engaged in the goal of building a foundation for the rest of their lives.
Due to opportunities that exist outside of our walls, we want to ensure that clients are not limited in their growth due to a lack of transport. Miracle Lane provides the built-in service of transporting our residents to essential appointments. This means that we will be taking our residents to and from daily outpatient treatment, schooling, employment and recovery meetings.
Recovery is something that none of us can do alone. Addiction isolates us and takes us away from positive influences in our lives. At Miracle Lane, we understand the power that community will play in our residents Journey’s. Community meetings, house dinners and group activities are not just features of our house but are instead built into the fabric of our philosophy.
We know that for some of our residents, starting over can be difficult. A huge piece of recovery is the ability for one to stand on their own two feet and reach a place of self-sufficiency. We offer vocational support for those residents who need to be guided on their path to this goal. Utilizing resume building, interview preparation and long-standing ties to the Charleston Community, Miracle Lane will ensure that those looking towards new employment opportunities are fully supported.
Continued time abstinent from drugs and alcohol is unfortunately only one aspect of the true recovery process. It is found through our experience that a program of action is necessary to evoke the true change that allows freedom from addiction. We not only suggest this route within Miracle Lane but instead require our residents to build a foundation through one of the many recovery communities that exist within South Carolina. Whether that path is Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, Smart Recovery, Celebrate Recovery or some other established support program we make sure that every resident is participating in a fellowship of their choosing. In addition to this requirement, we provide transportation to nightly recovery meetings 5 days a week.
It is our experience that addiction never just affects a single individual. It is a disease that wreaks havoc upon all of those who surround the person afflicted. This devastation usually most immediately impacts the direct family of our residents. Our team at Miracle Lane believes that transparency is of the utmost importance for the families that trust us with their loved ones residency. We make sure to keep families engaged every step of the way.
Our supportive environment is the cornerstone for individuals on the path to recovery. By providing structured sober living accommodations and comprehensive support systems, we empower residents to rebuild their lives with dignity and purpose.
